Aluminium Duffel is a European leader in the manufacture and sale of aluminium rolled products for diverse industries worldwide. It features state-of-the art technology, including the widest Automotive cold rolling mill in Europe and a CALP-line (Continuous Annealing Line with Pre-Treatment).

Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities produce rolled aluminium for everything from highly designed cladding for building facades to automotive body sheet. Almost everything we make is manufactured to specific customer requirements. We employ around 1.000 people and produce 200.000 tons of high-value aluminium rolled products annually.

Function

Creates, support implementation, evaluates and supervises robust recipes within a reasonable cost for all our Industrial products to fulfil the specifications of the customer defined by and approved together with the technical development engineer, based on available knowledge and in accordance with the current process capabilities.

Evaluates all products related to changes, improvements, new machines, new suppliers and new developments (during launch phase).

• You record, monitor and manage the knowledge of all recipes and products (Industrial product group).
• You are responsible for the definition of all recipes related to product properties.
• You assist R&D with the launching of new developments and assist on other studies and projects.
• You give support to Operations with technical product related issues.
• You define the best capabilities and monitor the properties of all products.
• You initiate, evaluate and approve the influence of process changes on product properties of commercially available and complete developed products.
• You give support for incidents and claims.

Profile

• Master in engineering (materials, chemical)
• High level of interest for material science and metallurgy
• You are result oriented, creative and a team player
• You have good communication skills

Language

• You have a very good knowledge of Dutch and a good knowledge of English
