Aluminium Duffel is a European leader in the manufacture and sale of aluminium rolled products for diverse industries worldwide. It features state-of-the art technology, including the widest Automotive cold rolling mill in Europe and a CALP-line (Continuous Annealing Line with Pre-Treatment).

Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities produce rolled aluminium for everything from highly designed cladding for building facades to automotive body sheet. Almost everything we make is manufactured to specific customer requirements. We employ around 1.000 people and produce 200.000 tons of high-value aluminium rolled products annually.

Function

• You are responsible, within the prevention & safety department, for promoting and realizing occupational safety within our organization. You advise, analyze, control, report, and provide training in the field of occupational safety.

• Your main task is to assist in the development, planning, execution, and evaluation of the Dynamic Risk Model with the aim of continuously improving safety policy.

• Special attention is given to risk management concerning working resources and working conditions to ensure that no new risks arise.

• You organize audits for evaluation and adjustment purposes, and translate laws, standards, and regulations to the workplace.

• You are part of an integrated prevention team.

Profile

• You have a master's degree and also possess a certificate as a level 1 prevention advisor.

• You have knowledge of laws, regulations, and rules regarding occupational safety and keep this knowledge up to date.

• You have experience in an industrial environment and can draw on technical knowledge of machine safety. • You have experience in risk analysis and knowledge of fire safety.

• You are analytically minded and can work independently.

• Your excellent communication skills enable you to engage in dialogue with various stakeholders within and outside the organization.

• You are a people manager and use these skills to influence the hierarchical line to achieve objectives in prevention. You have ambition to grow into the leadership role of Head Prevention & Safety Department.

Language

• You have a very good knowledge of Dutch and a good knowledge of English.
